a stay with some drawbacks
cramped roomlimited options
I was a little disappointed. the room i stayed in felt quite cramped. There wasn't much space to move around, especially with luggage. also, i found the breakfast options rather limited. i wished there had been a bit more variety to choose from each morning.

the cleanliness was lacking i noticed dust and limescale in the bathroom it seemed like it hadn't been cleaned properly for a while the room also had a dirty floor i asked for it to be vacuumed

I found the hosts very helpful! the breakfast had great choice and tasted delicious. the location was handy for buses into town. A convenient alternative to taxis. having a bar made waiting for my taxi pass quickly and easily.

The hosts, kevin and susan, were so friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. they provided trays and cutlery for takeaway food, which i thought was very sweet! their bar stayed open until 10pm.

The host Kevin. He provided excellent directions for using the buses. The rooms were WELL appointed. I found the water pressure in the shower to be THE best I experienced during my trip.

The bus stop is very close, literally two minutes from the building. This made getting around simple. Staff provide assistance with luggage. A bar is available with approximately 50 types of Scottish whiskey.

The staff was very polite and helpful, particularly concerning directions around the city. Kevin was helpful and entertaining throughout my stay, giving excellent tips on how to explore fully. The team.

The rooms include plenty of fluffy towels and in-room coffee and tea facilities. The beds and pillows proved very comfy. Rooms were well appointed with great views of Arthur's Seat from the third floor.

The breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked. The choice was fantastic.
The room was not as clean as I expected. I found some dust, and the limescale in the bathroom seemed to have been there for a while. This really dampened my experience. The cleaning needs some serious attention.
